2 Pedestrians Injured In Hampton, NH Crash; Teen Driver Charged With DWI
HAMPTON, NH (CBS) - A teenager is facing a charge of Aggravated DWI after police say he plowed his car into two pedestrians Thursday morning in Hampton, New Hampshire.
The crash happened at the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and 13th Street at about 7:05 a.m.
Police identified the driver as 17-year-old Remi Gross-Santos of Portsmouth.
The victims, 69-year-old Karen Weinhold and 60-year-old Lisa Beaudry, both of Hampton, suffered serious injuries.
Weinhold was transported to Exeter Hospital and later flown to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
Beaudry is reported to be in stable condition at Portsmouth Hospital.
Police say they are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
