2 Mass. Beaches Make National Geographic's Top 10 U.S. Family Beaches List
BOSTON (CBS) -- Two Massachusetts beaches got a big nod from National Geographic.
Coast Guard Beach in Eastham made the magazine's top pick in their Top 10 U.S. Family Beaches list.
They picked it because it has miles of sandy beach, lots of great seafood, and bike and kayak rentals.
Also on the list at number eight was Crane Beach in Ipswich.
The magazine noted the North Shore beach for its tidal pools and hiking trails--and of course, the famous Clam Box stand.
