2 Gunman Escape After South Boston Holdup Leads To Chase, Crash
BOSTON (CBS) - Boston police are searching for two gunmen after a robbery and wild police chase in South Boston Friday night.
Officers say three men held up the D Street Deli around 9 p.m.
Officers from the gang unit happened to be driving by at the time and noticed the robbery.
Police chased the getaway car, which eventually crashed into two other cars and an MBTA bus outside the Andrew Station MBTA stop.
The driver of the getaway car was arrested.
However, the other two suspects managed to escape. Police think they hopped on a Red Line train.
One person suffered minor injuries from the crash. No one was hurt in the holdup.
