I-Team: Woman shot and killed 3 relatives in Lynn before killing herself
LYNN – A woman shot and killed three members of her family before killing herself in Lynn Tuesday, according to I-Team sources.
Two men, age 66 and 34, were found shot at a home on Rockaway Street just before 3 p.m. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to I-Team sources, a woman shot her father and brother-in-law.
Police said the 31-year-old woman was found dead in the parking lot of a Stop and Shop nearby. She died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A third man, the father of the woman's brother-in-law, was found shot to death inside a minivan on Laighton Street. I-Team sources say he was shot and killed by the same woman who killed the men on Rockaway Street.
Police have not released the identities of anyone involved.
Neighbors on Rockaway Street described hearing a gun fire again and again. "Twenty shots, right after the other," a woman who did not want to be identified said. "That's when I went literally on the floor. It was shots."
Lynn Police Chief Christopher Reddy said there is no danger to the public.
