2 Arrested In Billerica Home Invasion Murder
WOBURN (AP) — Authorities say two Lynn men have been arrested in connection with a home invasion this summer that left a Billerica man dead.
The Middlesex district attorney's office announced that 28-year-old Jason Estabrook and 20-year-old Gabriel Arias were arrested Wednesday.
Estabrook was charged with murder, home invasion, and attempted armed robbery.
Arias was charged with misleading a criminal proceeding.
They are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
Prosecutors say Estabrook and others broke into Quinton Koehler's home in the morning of July 7.
Authorities think the home was targeted because the suspects thought they would find marijuana and money inside.
The home's residents confronted the suspect in the kitchen and Koehler was shot in the head.
Authorities allege Arias lied to investigators.
It was unclear if the suspects had hired lawyers.
