Married Couple, Twin Boys Found Dead Inside Arlington Home

ARLINGTON (CBS) ----  A married couple and their twin sons were found dead inside a two-family home on Newland Road Monday afternoon.

Police tell WBZ-TV the bodies were found by an officer doing a well-being check after a call came in from an au pair who couldn't get into the home.

The deceased have been identified as 43-year-old Scott Jones, 43-year-old Mei Kum Jones, and their sons, Colt and Cameron Jones, who would have turned one year old on November 26.

Mei Jones' brother tells WBZ-TV, the couple was going through a "nasty divorce." According to family members, the husband had recently moved out of the Arlington home.

Police have not said how the family died, but there is no risk to public safety and they are not looking for a suspect.

"This is obviously a very troubling, very tragic situation," District Attorney Marian Ryan said during an afternoon news conference.

Mei Jones worked at Road Scholar, an educational travel company.

"Mei was a valued member of our team and her loss is deeply felt by all of us," the company said in a statement Monday night. "As we grieve together, we can only imagine the impossible loss Mei's family must bear, and our deepest sympathies are with them."

A friend said she and Mei met at the bus stop years ago. She says her friend "had everything going for her." The two had also talked before about how badly Mei wanted to have children.

Scott Jones was married once before. His ex-wife's family tells WBZ-TV he had children from the previous marriage.
