1933 Newburyport High Class Ring Mystery Is Solved
NEWBURYPORT (CBS) - There is a happy ending to the case of the missing class ring.
A liquor store clerk found a Newburyport High School class ring from 1933 while she was cleaning out the store's office.
She wanted to find the owners and with a little research she found out it belonged to Priscilla Bradford, who passed away in 2000.
This weekend, the woman's granddaughter showed up at the liquor store to claim the ring.
The woman did not want to be named but says she will give it to her mother - Pricilla's daughter - next week as a birthday present.
