14 Patriots Questionable For AFC Championship
FOXBORO (CBS) - The New England Patriots are listing 14 players questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship against the Baltimore Ravens at Gillette Stadium.
Each player, headlined by tight end Aaron Hernandez, was limited on Friday, as they have been at the two previous team practices.
Hernandez had to leave New England's 45-10 win over the Broncos last weekend with a concussion, and is 50/50 to play on Sunday. The tight end's presence on the field will be huge for the Patriots, given the matchup problems he and fellow tight end Rob Gronkowski pose to opposing defenses.
Corner Kyle Arrington (foot), center Dan Connolly (groin) and receiver Matthew Slater (shoulder) were all full participants on Friday and listed as Probable for Sunday's game.
Tom Brady, who miss practice Wednesday and is reportedly battling a sprained AC Joint in his left shoulder, has not appeared on the practice/injury report the past two days.
