13-Year-Old, Father Burned In Explosion In Lawrence
LAWRENCE (CBS) - A 13-year-old and his father are in the hospital being treated for burns after an explosion in Lawrence.
The pair was in the basement of a home on Woodland Street doing some kind of work when the explosion occurred.
Police say they do not live in the house, and that the explosion was not the result of any illegal activity.
