The two returned to the boy's home and that's where Duda found Keeler unconscious in the bathroom.
"When he saw her, she was blue," Duda's mother Michele Duda said.
Duda splashed cold water on his sitter's face and when she was still unconscious, he called 911.
Keeler was taken to the hospital and is now crediting Duda with saving her life.
Duda says he doesn't consider himself a hero, he was just doing what his mom taught him.
"You help somebody when you can help them," Michele Duda said. "He says he wants to be a doctor when he grows up. I hope to God he is."
According to the Eagle Tribune, this isn't Nicholas' first time acting quickly. He was there when his father suffered a heart attack and helped his mother as she battled ovarian cancer.
