1000s Turn Out To Watch Lexington-Concord Battle Reenactment
LEXINGTON (CBS) - Among the most well-known Patriots Day commemorations is the reenactment of the battle of Lexington and Concord, which took place Monday morning.

The commemoration was held 236 years after the Battle of Lexington and Concord, and then the "shot heard 'round the world."
What took only minutes to perform brought in actors from all over and a crowd of 1,000s, who braved chilly early morning temperatures.
Some students used their time off from school to learn about the history surrounding the event.
"Actually, it was really interesting," said one girl named Maria. "I'll have the picture in my mind."
