YMCA In Bowie Closed After Fire
BOWIE, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say the YMCA building in Bowie is closed until further notice following an early morning two-alarm fire.
The fire broke out at the building in the 3500-block of Moylan Drive about 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
Fire officials say the blaze appears to have started outside and spread to the second floor.
No injuries have been reported.
YMCA spokeswoman Linda Blake says the site will remain closed while the extent of the damage is assessed.
