Howard Co. Officer ID'ed In Wrong-Way Crash That Injured 2 Children
GAMBRILLS, Md. (WJZ) -- We now know the identity of a police officer involved in a crash that sent two children to the hospital in Anne Arundel County.
Police identified the man as Howard County officer, Symchay Kon Bendu, who was on duty Saturday when he made an illegal u-turn along Route 100 in Glen Burnie.
His vehicle was hit by a car carrying two adults and two children.
The children ages 11 and 4, are severely injured.
The two adults suffered minor injuries.
