20-Year-Old Woman Found Shot To Death In Perry Hall, Previously Charged With Assault In December
PERRY HALL, Md. (WJZ) -- A woman was found shot to death inside her car in Perry Hall, according to Baltimore County Police.
The shooting happened on Hickory Falls Way at Hickoryhurst Drive around 11:56 p.m. Tuesday. Police said someone shot the woman in a parked car and then took off from the scene.
The woman, previously identified as a man by Baltimore police, has been identified as Taylor India Webb of the 4600 block of Marble Hall Road.
Police said someone in the area of Hickory Falls Way near Hickoryhurst Drive heard gunshots just before midnight and called 911.
"It's very shocking. It's a little bit scary," said neighbor Lauren Hamper.
Hamper came home to the investigation unfolding under flashing lights.
"We've had car accidents in our backyard," Hamper said.
Baltimore County officers said they found a car parked but still running with the 20-year-old's body in the driver seat.
She was shot multiple times, now the question is who pulled the trigger- and why.
"No one saw a vehicle leaving," said Officer Jennifer Peach, spokesperson for Baltimore County Police.
Police said that the victim was involved in an assault just a couple of months ago.
Webb was charged with first-degree assault on two women Dec. 16. because she believed her boyfriend was cheating on her with one of them.
Charging documents said that Webb threw eggs, toilet paper and a pumpkin at a house. The women got into a fight and Webb swung a knife.
Police were going door to door trying to figure out information that anybody knew.
