Woman Sentenced To 70 Years In Slaying
ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- An Earleville woman has been sentenced to 70 years in prison for the stabbing death of a man during a robbery in his home.
Lillian Jean Jacobs, 24, was sentenced on Thursday. A jury convicted her of felony murder in July.
The Cecil Whig reports that prosecutors say Jacobs and John Wayne Davis, 31, of Elkton killed John R. Fleming in December. Fleming, 71, was stabbed 66 times.
Davis pleaded guilty to first-degree murder. He was sentenced to life in prison.
