Woman Sentenced For Stealing From 2 Employers
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- A Hagerstown woman has been sentenced to 18 months in jail for stealing $167,000 from two employers in Frederick County.
Terri Lynn Dotson, 42, who was sentenced on Wednesday, will serve the time on a work-release program.
Dotson will be ordered to pay more than $65,000 in restitution to VETcorp Inc., a disabled veteran-owned chemical company where she kept books as a subcontractor. She will ordered be ordered to pay Harley-Davidson Inc. nearly $24,000. Dotson worked there as a bookkeeper.
Dotson pleaded guilty in July to two counts of theft scheme. She admitted using stolen money for credit card and other bills.
