Woman Pleads Guilty To Robbery Plot With Son
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Laurel woman has pleaded guilty to plotting to rob an armored vehicle with her son.
Regina McCullom, 49, entered the plea on Tuesday. She faces a maximum of life in prison at sentencing on Jan. 4.
According to her plea agreement, McCullom, her son, Erick Wilson, 26, and others plotted to rob an armored truck at gunpoint on April 29, 2009 in Silver Spring. Prosecutors say the robbery netted $160,000, which McCullom got from her son in a duffel bag after the robbery. Authorities say McCullom took a cab home, carrying the duffel bag.
Wilson pleaded guilty in the crime and will be sentenced Nov. 21.
