Woman Injured As 2 Men Fire Into Hagerstown Home
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say two men have fired at least 16 shots into a home in Hagerstown's West End, injuring a woman.
Police Sgt. Jim Hurd says the woman was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the shooting on Summer Street about 1:45 a.m. Sunday. Police say about a dozen people were inside the house when two men opened fire from the street.
Hurd tells The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown newspaper that most of the people were asleep at the time of the shooting.
He says he does not believe the woman who was shot was a full-time resident of the home.
