Woman Gets 30 Months In Prison For Bank Robbery
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A woman who pleaded guilty to robbing a Crofton bank has been sentenced to 30 months in prison.
Alexandria Miller, 41, of Bowie was sentenced Friday in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. The Capital of Annapolis reports that she had pleaded guilty to armed robbery in August.
Prosecutors say Miller walked into a PNC Bank in a supermarket on Feb. 6. Authorities say Miller implied she had a gun and gave a teller a note demanding money.
Police say after getting cash, Miller fled in an SUV and led law enforcers on a chase in two counties. Police were able to arrest her after deploying stop sticks.
