Woman Gets 20 Years In DUI Crash Deaths
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- A Beltsville woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving in a three-vehicle crash that killed two men last year.
Jenny Mate, 32, was sentenced Tuesday in Prince George's County Circuit Court.
Police say the men, Roy Lacayo, 34, of Washington and Justo Rosario Jr., 30, of Hyattsville, had been involved in a minor accident on Feb. 1, 2010, and were exchanging contact information. Mate sideswiped one car and crashed into the other, killing both men at the scene.
