Woman Arrested On Charge Of Torching Own Home
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- A Mount Airy woman faces a bond review hearing after she was arrested on an arson charge for allegedly setting fire to her own home.
Patricia Cullop, 47, is due in court Wednesday.
She was arrested Tuesday and held on $50,000 bond.
Investigators say Cullop set a fire in her kitchen Nov. 19 and then barricaded herself in the attic and called 911.
She was treated for smoke inhalation and related injuries after emergency responders found her inside the burning home.
She is charged with first-degree arson and first-degree malicious burning.
