Woman, 22, Dead In Single-Car Crownsville Crash
CROWNSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Police in Anne Arundel County say a 22-year-old woman is dead after a single-car crash in Crownsville.
Police say the crash happened Tuesday at about 12:35 p.m. on Herald Harbor Road at Prescott Road.
Police say the driver of a 2003 Toyota RAV-4 went off the road and hit a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified driver of the car as Jennifer Nichole Tedore of Crownsville.
Police say a preliminary investigation suggests excessive speed and wet road conditions are factors in the crash.
