Western Md. Man Charged With Attempted Murder
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A Boonsboro man faces an attempted murder charge after a stabbing in the parking lot of a Hagerstown strip mall.
Hagerstown police arrested Daniel Romano, 22, on Saturday night. He is being held on $700,000 bond at the Washington County jail and couldn't be reached for comment.
Police were called about 9:40 p.m. to a reported stabbing outside the Buffalo Wings & Beer restaurant in the South End Shopping Center.
They say they found the victim and several other people at the scene, but Romano had fled.
Police found him later that night walking on Halfway Boulevard, about a mile away from the shopping center.
