Western Md. Bust Nets 100 Lbs. Of Pot, $300,000 Cash
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP)-- Authorities in Hagerstown are holding two men on multimillion-dollar bonds after a drug bust that netted more than 100 pounds of marijuana and $300,000 in cash.
Twenty-six-year-old John Titus of Williamsport and 31-year-old Sean Andrews of Hagerstown had bond-review hearings Friday afternoon.
The Herald-Mail newspaper reports that police arrested them Thursday after an eight-week investigation.
Andrews told the court that his $2.5 million bail was ridiculous.
District Judge Dana Moylan Wright set Titus' bail at $5 million.
