WEATHER BLOG: Thanksgiving
The weather will remain pleasant in the greater Baltimore area during the next couple of days, as high pressure maintains its grip on much of the Northeast and the mid-Atlantic states.
Some relatively minor concerns we have involve fog, which may form in some places late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, simply because the winds will be so light and the sky should be no more than partly cloudy.
Early Wednesday, recent infrared satellite imagery showed considerable amounts of high clouds lingering in the Northeast. However, since most of these were located north and east of Baltimore as of this writing, it looks as if Wednesday should just turn out fairly sunny. That should be enough to push temperatures into the middle 50s Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday night, as we had already mentioned, fog may form late, but most temperatures will be no lower than the 30s in the typically colder spots and the lower 40s in the larger cities.
Thanksgiving Day should offer a decent amount of sunshine, light winds and most afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 50s.
Friday should be every bit as mild, if not a bit warmer than Thursday. Most temperatures will be around 60.
