WEATHER BLOG: Happy Halloween
The day is getting off to a rather mild start, but we are also looking at plenty of clouds and patchy fog for a while. The temperature should reach the lower 70s Thursday afternoon, and there will probably be a stray, passing shower before the day is through.
On this Halloween night, trick-or-treaters will NOT need a thick or heavy coat because temperatures should be in the 60s Thursday evening. However, we will be watching a corridor of rain inching its way toward Maryland, with the steadiest and heaviest of the rain probably holding off until after 11 p.m. or midnight.
Even though there will be a leftover shower Friday morning, the balance of the day will be breezy and warm for the first of November, with most temperatures reaching the lower and middle 70s.
There will be a gradual cooling down taking place this weekend, which will result in temperatures no higher than the 50s by early next week.
Have a good day!!!
