Now that Rivera is retired, the spot showed the metal giants as virtually unemployed, trying various angles at the SportsCenter offices to continue contributing, including John Daly's entrance music and guitar lessons.
Virtually every gag in the original reel gets three or four alternate takes. Best one? Scott Van Pelt's reaction to their Daly music with "It's a little bit aggressive" to which Kirk Hammett responds earnestly, "Thank you."
