Vinny Cerrato: Ravens Camp - Impression Of Offense
I was impressed with the work ethic of whole team in 100 degree temperature. The tempo was fast and there was a lot of good teaching. The players were upbeat and working hard.

Vinny Cerrato Talks About What He Saw At Ravens Camp Yesterday
Some of the individuals that made an impression on me, either positive or negative were:
Joe Flacco - I liked his footwork, he seemed quicker, and in drops is improving his technique with his feet. Very rarely did he work drills from shot gun in this new West Coast Offense, working mostly on he rhythm and timing of the offense from the 3, 5, and 7 steps drops.
Tight Ends - I like what I saw from the Owen Daniels and Dennis Pitta. They looked good in route running and finding open areas against the zone.
Kyle Juszczyk - His route running was impressive and showed good hands. He will have a much bigger role with the offense this year.
Steve Smith - I thought Sr. looked excellent on many routes and catching the ball. He will be a big plus for the offense if he stays healthy. He should have over 1000 receiving yards.
Offensive Line - 4/5 of the o-line impressed me. I thought they all looked in good shape and moved well. The concern I still have is Ricky Wagner. I will hold judgment on Wagner until pads come on but I have concerns there.
Running Backs - The many backs are hard to judge until they start wearing pads, but Ray Rice looked like he was in a lot better shape. I saw Ray show some burst on some plays. Lorenzo Taliaferro is a big back that showed some speed and burst. Justin Forsett also showed some burst but might be just a good backup that can fill in for a game or two but not the whole season.
I can't wait to see the offense with pads on with all these weapons. The defensive report will come tomorrow.
