Victim In Calvert County Fire Identified
OWINGS, Md. (AP) -- Officials have identified the man who was found dead after a house fire in Calvert County.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal said Thursday that 63-year-old Abdiel Ridgely Albaugh died of smoke inhalation and burns in Wednesday's fire in Owings.
The fire marshal's office says the home and three vehicles were badly damaged in the fire. Officials estimate the damage cost to be roughly $250,000.
The origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation.
