Veteran Ravens Players Report For Training Camp In Owings Mills
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WJZ) -- It is day two of Ravens training camp in Owings Mills.
Mark Viviano has more on a report day for the veterans.
The Ravens player got a break Wednesday--practice was canceled. Instead, they got on a bus and went to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for some team building and leadership training.
They go from the battlefield to the football field for the official start of training camp Thursday.
It's back to work for the Super Bowl champions. Veteran players--arriving on the eve on the first full day of workouts in Owings Mills.
The quarterbacks, rookies and select veterans got a head start with one workout already this week. Time now, for all to be ready.
"It's good to be back, always. And to start work preparing for this season and laying the foundation for another good season. So we're excited to be back," said Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta.
"It's all about winning here. We want to win, and we're going to use training camp to work. We're not training for just the opening, we're training for an NFL season," said linebacker Terrell Suggs.
The Ravens have undergone major changes since their Super Bowl win in February. A number of rookies and free agent veterans are now in the mix, hungry to experience success they hope is similar to last season's Ravens team.

"I'm excited. I can't wait. I've been working hard all off-season," said linebacker Elvis Dumervil. "I've been here every day in and day out, getting to meet the new teammates and coaching style. I love what's going on here. The community's been great, the fans. So I'm excited. I just want to come out here and start playing football."
Elvis Dumervil is one of those new Ravens, while Terrell Suggs is one who's been here longer than anyone else on the roster.
