Va. Pair Arrested On Heroin Charges In Ocean City
OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Ocean City police have arrested two northern Virginia residents on heroin charges after a traffic stop.
Officers stopped a car about 2 a.m. Monday 85th Street and Coastal Highway and said they smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Police say a search of the car turned up six packages of heroin, several prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.
Hannah Knoll Norris, 24, of Fairfax and Scott Edward Kahler, 25, of Falls Church were each charged with transporting heroin into Maryland, possession with intent to distribute heroin and other offenses.
