U.S. Marshals Arrest Maryland Fugitive In Arizona
PHOENIX (AP) -- Federal authorities say they've arrested a Maryland fugitive in Arizona.
The U.S. Marshals Service says Kenneth Henry, 37, was taken into custody Wednesday after a vehicle stop in Phoenix.
Authorities say numerous shipping boxes were found in the back of the vehicle Henry was driving and inside each box were sealed paint cans filled with marijuana.
Phoenix police executed a search warrant for Henry's home and found about 150 pounds of marijuana. He's now jailed in Phoenix on the new drug charges.
Marshals say an arrest warrant was issued in Maryland's Prince George County for Henry's arrest last April after he failed to appear for a court hearing involving narcotics. A federal arrest warrant was issued in November in the District of Columbia charging Henry with probation violation.
