UMd. Student Clothes Taken While In Fountain
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) -- University of Maryland campus police say thieves stole the clothes of female students who stripped down to their underwear to take a dip in a campus fountain.
Police say a group of about 10 men and women took the clothes and other items, dropping the items as they walked to a campus garage Friday night. One of the students says she was also grabbed by a member of the group.
Police say most of the items were recovered and they are investigating.
