Man arrested in Ocean City after allegedly shooting Maryland Topgolf security guard, employee
BALTIMORE -- A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged with shooting a security guard and an employee earlier this week at a Maryland Topgolf, Montgomery County Police said.
Cyprian Nwaigwe was located in an Ocean City, Maryland hotel. He is facing two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of firearm use in a felony violent crime.
Police said Nwaigwe was told to leave Topgolf, in Germantown, which was closing around midnight on Tuesday morning.
After getting into a fight with a security guard, Nwaigwe allegedly grabbed a gun and shot the 23-year-old security guard in the upper body and then shot an 18-year-old employee.
The victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
