Two Arrested In Gwynn Oak Home Invasion Shooting
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Two Baltimore men have been arrested in connection with a home invasion turned shooting in Baltimore County last week that injured a Gwynn Oak man, according to police.
Jacques Maurice Jones, 42, of North Caroline Street, and Michael Kyri Isaac, 22, of Briarclift Road, are charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and home invasion. Both are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
The suspects forced their way inside the victim's home, located in the 2100 block of Streamway Court, before 6 p.m. May 30 and started taking his things and loading them into the victim's car, according to police. One of the suspects allegedly shot the victim as he tried to run away.
The pair fled before police arrived.
Officers responding to a reported shooting at the address found the victim shot once in the upper body. He was treated and released from the hospital.
Investigators are still trying to figure out why the suspects chose the victim's home. The victim told police he does not know the suspects.
