Truck Driver Hurt In Rosedale Derailment Leaves Hospital
BALTIMORE (AP) -- The driver of a truck that was hit by a CSX train and caused its derailment has been released from the hospital.
A spokeswoman for Shock Trauma said Monday that John J. Alban Jr. was released on Sunday.
Alban, who owns Alban Waste LLC, was driving a trash truck when it was hit by a CSX train May 28 in Rosedale. The crash, explosion and resulting fire caused an untold amount of damage to nearby businesses and homes.
