Trial Set For February In Md. Woman's Slaying
CENTREVILLE, Md. (AP) -- The trial of a homeless man accused of killing a Denton woman in April has been scheduled.
Leroy N. Wilson Jr., 21, is accused of first- and second-degree murder in the death of Lindsey N. Crispino, 28. Wilson, who is also charged with carjacking, armed robbery and assault, was arrested in Mississippi on April 29 after crashing Crispino's car. Her body was found on a farm near Centreville on April 27.
The trial is set for Feb. 6 in Queen Anne's County Circuit Court.
The Star Democrat of Easton reports that Michael Pappafotis, a public defender representing Wilson, said in court Tuesday that DNA tests are going to be crucial in the trial.
