Trial Resumes In Case Of Slain Bowie State Student
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Testimony resumes in the trial of a former Bowie State University student charged with fatally stabbing her roommate during an argument.
The trial in Prince George's County resumes Thursday, with lawyers for Alexis Simpson continuing to call witnesses to the stand.
Simpson is charged in the September 2011 killing of Dominique Frazier in their shared suite.
Authorities say Simpson slashed Frazier's neck during an argument that began when Simpson turned off an iPod that was playing in the suite. Simpson's lawyer has said his client had been bullied and acted in self-defense but didn't intend to kill her roommate.
The trial started Tuesday.
