Train, Pickup Truck Collide In Hagerstown
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Police in Hagerstown say a driver suffered only minor injuries when his pickup truck was hit by a CSX freight train.
Police say George Fuscsick, 87, failed to stop for flashing red lights at a railroad crossing in the 700-block of Pennsylvania Ave. Tuesday afternoon.
They say the train clipped the truck, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side.
Police say the driver was taken to a local hospital with glass in his arm.
CSX says the train consisted of a locomotive and 26 cars.
