Train Derails In Greektown; No Injuries Reported
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A train derailed Sunday morning in the Greektown section of Baltimore.
According to officials, a Norfolk Southern train with three locomotives and 24 load cars was involved in the derailment on the overpass at Eastern Avenue. One engine and three cars actually derailed.
The train was not carrying any hazardous material and no one was injured.
Crews are working to remove the cars and engine and get the train moving again. It's not known how long this will take.
It's not known where the train was heading.
