Traffic Task Force Recovers 424 Bags Of Heroin
HAVRE de GRACE, Md. (WJZ) -- Harford County deputies were conducting a traffic safety initiative on I-95 and stopped a black 2001 Chevy Tahoe. A K-9 scan resulted in a positive alert for a controlled dangerous substance.
The driver was identified as Shareef Fed and the passenger was identified as Anjeanette Monroig-Barrett.
When police searched the car, they found cocaine, 44 grams of marijuana and a block of heroin. The total street value of the recovered drugs is around $4,900.
Fed is being held on $500,000 bond. There's a warrant from New Jersey for Fed on narcotics violations. He's been charged with multiple possession charges. Monroig-Barrett was released on $5,000 bond.
