West set Towson & NCAA FCS records while amassing 2,509 yards and 41 touchdowns on 413 carries in 2013. He's been compared to Frank Gore, LeSean McCoy, and Adrian Peterson.
West explained how he nearly chose to play at Maryland before helping coach Rob Ambrose build the Tigers into national contenders. West isn't picky about where he'll play in the NFL this fall, 'Whoever picks me is going to get the best out of me. A dedicated guy. Someone that's going to be persistent and come to work every day.'
Mr. West will officially meet his future employer and begin his professional football career when his name is announced at the NFL Draft in New York City May 8-10.
