Towson Mass Shooting
A Baltimore City man died, and nine other people were injured, in Tuesday's mass shooting.
Police responded around 7:15 p.m. to the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard after receiving reports that gunshots were fired, and a car was on fire, Baltimore County Police Chief Robert McCullough said in a news briefing Wednesday.
When police arrived, they found an overturned, burning vehicle by a funeral home in the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard,
Charles Graham Jr., 26, of Baltimore City was found near the vehicle and pronounced dead.
Eight of the victims suffered gunshot wounds, while one had other injuries. The victims range in age from 14 to 27, including two teenage girls aged 15 and 17. Eight remain hospitalized, with one victim released.
All 10 people were inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting and crash, which occurred around 7:15 p.m., McCullough said. Investigators believe the incident was isolated and targeted, involving "rival individuals."
Police have not indicated that there is a connection between Tuesday's mass shooting in Towson, and Wednesday's shooting in Parkville.
