Tim Tebow Thanks Teammates, Fans After Great Season
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (CBS4) - After the Denver Broncos lost to the New England Patriots 45-10 in New England Saturday night quarterback Tim Tebow went to the podium and thanked his teammates and the fans after an incredible season.
"I thank my teammates for the effort they put forth, not only tonight, but for the entire season. I also want to thank the Broncos fans for all of their support this season. It definitely meant a lot," Tebow said.
He talked about the Broncos' amazing run just to get into the playoffs.
"I haven't worried too much about that. I think the cool part has been just the relationship with my teammates," he said. "The run was a lot of fun and a lot of ups and downs. We really tried to block everything on the outside off and just enjoy the relationships with teammates and coaches."
He said they tried to work to get better and believes the team did that all year.
"We just didn't put forth a good enough performance tonight and you've got to give them a lot of credit; it's a really good team."
He also had only good things to say about Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
"It's exciting and it's a great honor to get a chance to play them in the second round of the playoffs. He's a great quarterback and he showed it tonight once again. And coach Belichick is a great coach and they've got a lot of great players on that team.
He said he doesn't know what he's going to do during the offseason except to try to get better.
