Ticket Lottery Open For White House Easter Party
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A lottery for tickets to the annual White House Easter egg roll is open for just a few more days.
The lottery for tickets opened Thursday and continues through Monday.
Last year more than 30,000 people attended the events on the South Lawn including games, storytelling and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
The White House says the tradition of rolling Easter eggs on the lawn dates back to 1878. This year's Easter egg roll will take place April 9.
