The Terps Are Going Dancing
Pat Kennedy of Yahoo Sports, and the former Head Coach of the Towson Tigers Men Basketball team, joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to preview the NCAA Tournament. Maryland was snubbed in many College Basketball fans opinions, Pat doesn't look too much at Maryland getting snubbed by the selection committee. "I knew the fans could probably be taken back by that but I will tell you one thing. The way they came back after they stumbled a little bit was a great sign. In my bracket I've got them getting to the Kentucky game. I think they'll beat West Virginia in the second round. In my opinion I think we will see a great Maryland-Kentucky match-up... I could see Kentucky and Maryland in a great Sweet Sixteen game, which would be wonderful tosee Maryland back at that level. But that could also be a godsend for them."
The selection committee set-up the tournament to make some pretty interesting match-ups in the later rounds of the big dance. "Well I think that a Wisconsin-Kentucky match-up would be sensational. I also think that Kansas-Notre Dame in the Sweet Sixteen could be a great match-up, and I also think that Wisconsin-North Carolina game could be sensational."
