The Giant Company Donates 100 Turkeys To Carroll County Food Bank
ELDERSBURG, Md. (WJZ) -- Some families in Carroll County won't go hungry this holiday season thanks to The Giant Company.
The company is donating 100 turkeys to the county's food bank as part of a larger donation of 10,000 turkeys to 28 food banks across several states.
In a news release, the company cited the increase in need brought about by the coronavirus pandemic as the reason it stepped up its efforts this holiday season.
