The Avenue At White Marsh Gears Up For Christmas
WHITE MARSH, Md. (WJZ)—With Thanksgiving plans underway, the holidays are just around the corner. And Friday night in Baltimore County, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Christmas arrives pretty quickly in White Marsh. On Friday, the Avenue shopping area held its 14th annual tree lighting festivities.
"It's absolutely beautiful, full of ornaments and the beautiful lights," said Cecilia Auth, of Nottingham.
Santa and Mrs. Claus were big stars. Wide-eyed girls and boys were just dreaming about the goodies they hope will be under their trees this Christmas.
Nine-year-old Roman Auth says his wish is for "Madden 12, Call of Duty and Modern Warfare 3."
Americans haven't even stuffed, roasted or carved their turkeys, and we're already talking Christmas and shopping. It's a bit much for some.
"I love it," said Shawnta Duffy, of Rosedale. "It's cold, but I love it. I like the tree and Santa Claus."
The Avenue at White Marsh was packed. Judging by the crowd, people are in the holiday spirit.

On Saturday, Dec. 3 The Avenue at White Marsh will play host to the 13th annual holiday parade.
