During its Imagining Home event, the Baltimore Museum of Art will be showcasing sculptures, paintings, textiles and interactive displays — including whole rooms — which explore the theme of hearth and home. These displays come from around the world, showing visitors what it means to be at home in America, Europe, Asia, Africa and more. There is no place like home for the holidays, and there is no place like the Museum of Art in Baltimore this Thanksgiving to give you that homey feeling. During the Thanksgiving season, Maryland's largest producer's-only market is peaking with the harvest fruits of the farms soon to close down their stands for the winter season. Drop in to enjoy your pick of the crop for the best fruit, corn and squash. But the pickin's don't stop at produce. You can also enjoy seasonal meats, such as poultry (including eggs), beef, pork and even seafood!
Of course, there will also be farm-fresh baked goods, and with Thanksgiving on the scene, you'll be able to enjoy all your seasonal favorites, like various pumpkin and apple dishes. Of course, even though Christmas Day is a month away, it's expected that there will be a good deal of Christmas starting to churn up in the air as Thanksgiving hits and Black Friday follows. But whether or not you are a fan of early decorations, Kennedy Krieger's Festival of Trees is an event you don't want to miss. Running from November 27 through 29 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, this is a spectacle of lights and entertainment which includes an epic and expansive miniature train display, a fantasy forest, a gingerbread town and nightly entertainment for the entire family. Stop by for crafts, gifts, baked goods and candy. This is a perfect place to entertain and get your Christmas shopping done early. And don't feel guilty celebrating a little early: all proceeds go to help Kennedy Krieger and their work.

The Holiday Season is train-ride season at the B&O Railroad Museum! Stop in Wednesday through Friday at 11:30 a.m., Saturday at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. for your discount train-ride. Join B&O on November 21st and 22nd for Santa's LEGO Block Party, where they will help to construct a fully functional LEGO train set and village along with special guest: Santa! And speaking of Santa and trains, November 27 through 29, enjoy its Polar Express Train Ride, and get your kids to believe again.
