Texas Man Shot, Killed By Baltimore County Police
DUNDALK, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County police say an officer fatally shot a man who was struggling with another officer in Dundalk.
Officers say about 2:20 a.m. Monday, police were interviewing a man when he became combative. Authorities say the officer and the man fell to the ground.
Police say a second officer used pepper spray on the man, but he continued to struggle with the first officer.
Officials say the second officer shot the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was identified as 22-year-old Joshua Michael Lopez of La Marque, Texas.
The officer who fired the shot has been placed on routine administrative leave.
